How We Work

Berry Beautiful is a manufacturer first. We produce berry seed oils, powders, fibers, seed cake, crumble, dry seed, and related seed ingredients from materials we handle directly through drying, cold pressing, filtration, milling, packaging, and documentation support.

We work with brands, formulators, manufacturers, distributors, and ingredient buyers who need more than a generic product listing. Many bulk ingredient projects require a practical conversation about ingredient fit, intended use, current availability, packaging, documentation, freight, and timing.

We produce several batches of conventional and certified organic berry seed ingredients annually. We do not blend lots, and we test all batches so buyers can review lot-specific information for the material being supplied.

This page explains how we typically work with B2B buyers, sourcing partners, and processor relationships.

Starting a Project

The best first step is to share what ingredient you are looking for, how you plan to use it, and the approximate volume you are trying to source. From there, we can confirm whether the material is currently available, seasonally available, or better suited for a planned production run.

Helpful details include:

  • Ingredient or material of interest
  • Intended use, such as skincare, food, supplement, pet food, feed, or further manufacturing
  • Estimated order volume or annual usage
  • Preferred packaging format
  • Organic or conventional requirements
  • Documentation or testing requirements
  • Target timeline and delivery location

You do not need every detail finalized before reaching out. We can usually help clarify what matters most once we understand the project.

Specs, Samples & Documentation

For qualified B2B buyers, we can provide product information and documentation depending on the ingredient, lot, certification status, material source, and intended use.

Because we do not blend lots, documentation is tied to the specific batch or lot being supplied. We test all batches and can provide lot-specific information when available and appropriate for the buyer’s intended use.

Available documentation may include Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, lot-specific Certificates of Analysis, Certificate of Origin, organic certificates when applicable, allergen statements, GMO statements, residual solvent statements, manufacturing flow information, supplier overview documents, and preventive controls or food safety summaries for applicable powder and fiber ingredients.

Samples may be available before a larger order is placed. Sample timing depends on current inventory, production schedule, and whether the request involves a standard material, a planned production run, or a custom preparation.

Quoting & Availability

Bulk pricing depends on ingredient type, volume, packaging format, current inventory, crop year, certification status, testing requirements, and freight considerations.

Some materials may be available from current inventory. Others may require planning around harvest, drying, pressing, milling, packaging, or lot testing. We try to be clear about what is ready now, what is realistic with lead time, and what may not be the right fit for a given project.

For powder, fiber, seed cake, crumble, dry seed, and other bulk materials, packaging and freight can meaningfully affect the final quote. If you have a preferred carrier, delivery window, warehouse requirement, or pallet configuration, please include that information early.

Production, Packaging & Freight

Because we manufacture and handle these materials directly, we can usually speak to the practical details of how a product is produced, packed, and shipped.

Depending on the ingredient and project, packaging may include bottles, gallons, pails, drums, lined powder drums, sacks, supersacks, FIBC bulk bags, or other agreed formats.

For fine milled food-grade powders, packaging may include 250 lb lined 55-gallon powder drums, commonly planned at 1 to 4 drums per pallet depending on shipment size and carrier requirements.

Coarse powder for pet food or feed-grade applications may be packed in 50 lb sacks on pallets or supersacks/FIBC bulk bags.

Food-grade seed crumble may be packed in FIBC bulk bags or 250 lb lined drums, depending on the project. Dry seed may also be available in bulk bags when appropriate.

Freight can be quoted or coordinated depending on the buyer’s needs. Some buyers prefer to arrange pickup with their own carrier, while others ask us to help coordinate LTL, pallet shipments, or larger freight options.

Ways We May Work With Buyers & Processors

Most B2B orders are straightforward direct sales from Berry Beautiful to the buyer. In some cases, especially for sourcing projects outside our standard inventory, Berry Beautiful may participate in another structure depending on the needs of the buyer, processor, and project.

Direct Manufacturer

Berry Beautiful manufactures the ingredient and sells it directly to the buyer. This is the most common structure for our berry seed oils, powders, fibers, seed cake, crumble, dry seed, and related seed ingredients.

Vendor of Record

Berry Beautiful purchases the product and sells it to the buyer, managing invoicing and logistics coordination between the processor, supplier, and buyer.

Broker or Facilitator

Berry Beautiful connects buyers and suppliers and helps facilitate the transaction. When this structure is used, terms are agreed to in advance based on the project and the role we are taking.

Sourcing Partner

Berry Beautiful may help facilitate introductions and structure supply relationships between buyers and processors. This can include helping both sides understand product specifications, packaging formats, documentation needs, logistics expectations, and realistic timelines.

Relationship Protection

We put real time into developing processor relationships, buyer opportunities, sourcing leads, and practical ingredient pathways. When needed, Berry Beautiful may use sourcing agreements or other written terms so expectations are clear before supplier details, origin information, or processor contacts are shared.

This helps protect the relationships involved while still giving buyers the information they need to evaluate the ingredient and move the project forward.

Supplier identities, origin details, and processor contacts are typically shared once project discussions are underway and any needed sourcing agreements are in place.

This helps protect the relationships involved while still allowing buyers to receive the information they need to evaluate the ingredient and move the project forward.

What Makes a Good Fit

We are often a good fit for buyers who value traceability, practical documentation, domestic ingredient sourcing, and direct communication with the people involved in making or handling the ingredient.

We may not be the right fit for every commodity request, especially when a buyer is only looking for the lowest possible spot-market price with no concern for origin, handling, documentation, or long-term supply.

Our best projects are usually built around clear expectations, realistic timelines, and a shared interest in quality ingredients that are handled with care.
