Ingredients & Programs
Berry Beautiful manufactures berry seed oils, powders, fibers, seed cake, crumble, dry seed, and related seed ingredients from materials we handle directly through drying, cold pressing, filtration, milling, packaging, and documentation support.
Because our work is rooted in berry processing and seed recovery, we also maintain relationships with regional processors and ingredient partners. Through those relationships, we may help buyers source select fruit ingredients, berry-derived materials, and custom ingredient programs when the project is a good fit.
This page outlines the ingredient categories we manufacture directly, as well as the types of partner-supported programs we may be able to help facilitate.
Berry Beautiful Manufactured Ingredients
These are the ingredients most closely tied to our own production work. Availability depends on crop year, current inventory, production schedule, certification status, and lot testing.
Berry Seed Oils
We mechanically cold press berry seed oils without solvents, refining, bleaching, deodorizing, or degumming. Our oils are produced in batches and are not blended across lots.
Available berry seed oils may include:
- Red Raspberry Seed Oil
- Certified Organic Red Raspberry Seed Oil
- Cranberry Seed Oil
- Certified Organic Cranberry Seed Oil, when available
Berry Seed Powders, Fibers & Crumble
After oil pressing, the remaining seed cake can be milled, screened, or supplied in different formats depending on the crop, lot, intended use, and buyer requirements.
Available formats may include:
- Fine milled food grade powder or fiber
- Coarse powder for pet food or feed grade applications
- Food grade seed crumble
- Seed cake or coarse material for qualified buyers, when available
- Dry seed in bulk bags, when available
We test all batches and can provide lot-specific information and documentation depending on the ingredient, intended use, and buyer requirements.
Red Raspberry Seed Ingredient Programs
Red raspberry seed ingredients are one of our core specialties. Our red raspberry seed work is rooted in Washington berry production, especially Whatcom County, where we have direct experience with seed recovery, drying, cleaning, oil pressing, and powder production.
Program options may include:
- Bulk red raspberry seed oil
- Certified organic red raspberry seed oil
- Bulk red raspberry seed powder or fiber
- Certified organic red raspberry seed powder or fiber, when available
- Red raspberry seed cake, crumble, or coarse material
- Dry red raspberry seed in bulk bags, when available
We produce several batches of conventional and certified organic berry seed ingredients annually. For larger volume needs, timing and availability are usually planned around crop year, drying schedule, pressing schedule, milling needs, and testing.
Cranberry Seed Ingredient Programs
Berry Beautiful also works with cranberry seed ingredients, including cranberry seed oil and cranberry seed powder or fiber. Cranberry seed ingredients may be manufactured by Berry Beautiful or sourced through partner relationships depending on the material, buyer requirement, and project.
Program options may include:
- Bulk cranberry seed oil
- Cranberry seed powder or fiber
- Cranberry seed cake or coarse material, when available
- Dry cranberry seed in bulk bags, when available
- Partner-source cranberry powder or fiber programs, when needed
For Berry Beautiful manufactured cranberry seed powder, documentation may include a Technical Data Sheet, Safety Data Sheet, lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, manufacturing flow information, and preventive controls or food safety summary when appropriate.
Partner-Facilitated Fruit Ingredients
In some cases, Berry Beautiful may help buyers source fruit ingredients or berry-derived materials through regional processors and ingredient partners. These items are not always stocked by Berry Beautiful and may be subject to processor availability, seasonality, minimums, certification status, packaging format, and freight requirements.
Partner-facilitated categories may include:
- Fruit powders and fibers
- IQF berries
- Fruit purees
- Seed streams or partially processed seed materials
- Milling or further processing programs
When we help facilitate a partner-source ingredient, documentation, specifications, pack sizes, and lead times depend on the processor or supplier producing that material.
Fruit Powders & Fibers
Fruit powders and fibers may be available through Berry Beautiful production or through partner relationships, depending on the fruit, format, and intended use.
Categories we may be able to help with include:
- Red raspberry seed powder or fiber
- Cranberry seed powder or fiber
- Blueberry powder or fiber, when available through partners
- Apple powder or fiber, when available through partners
- Cherry powder or fiber, when available through partners
- Other fruit powder or fiber programs by request
Many fruit fibers and seed powders originate from materials separated during fruit production and processing. When handled properly, these materials can become valuable ingredients for food, supplement, pet food, feed, cosmetic, and formulation applications.
IQF Fruit & Fruit Purees
Through our relationships with berry processors, Berry Beautiful may help facilitate sourcing of select IQF fruit or fruit purees when the project fits the processor’s supply, packaging, and production capabilities.
Common categories may include:
- IQF red raspberries
- IQF blueberries
- Red raspberry puree
- Blueberry puree
- Other fruit ingredients by request
Availability varies by crop, processor, season, certification status, pack format, and order volume. Certified organic options may be available depending on the product and processor.
Typical Packaging Formats
Packaging depends on the ingredient, material source, processor, intended use, and order volume.
Berry Beautiful Manufactured Materials
- Berry seed oils may be available in bottles, gallons, pails, or drums depending on the ingredient and current inventory
- Fine milled food grade powder may be packed in 250 lb lined 55-gallon powder drums, commonly planned at 1 to 4 drums per pallet
- Coarse powder for pet food or feed grade applications may be packed in 50 lb sacks on pallets or supersacks/FIBC bulk bags
- Food grade seed crumble may be packed in FIBC bulk bags or 250 lb lined drums, depending on the project
- Dry seed may be available in bulk bags when appropriate
Partner-Source Materials
For partner-source or processor-facilitated ingredients, packaging may vary. Common formats may include bags, cases, pails, drums, totes, or FIBC bulk bags depending on the product and supplier.
Please inquire for current packaging options and availability for each ingredient.
Documentation & Testing
For Berry Beautiful manufactured ingredients, documentation may include Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, lot-specific Certificates of Analysis, Certificate of Origin, organic certificates when applicable, allergen statements, GMO statements, residual solvent statements, manufacturing flow information, supplier overview documents, and preventive controls or food safety summaries for applicable powder and fiber ingredients.
For partner-source materials, documentation depends on the processor or supplier producing the material. We can help clarify what documentation is available once the product, source, and intended use are known.
Custom Programs
Some projects do not fit neatly into a standard ingredient list. Berry Beautiful may be able to help with custom or seasonal programs involving berry seed oils, powders, fibers, seed streams, milling, bulk packaging, or processor-sourced fruit ingredients.
Good program discussions usually include the ingredient needed, intended use, estimated volume, certification requirements, packaging format, documentation needs, target timeline, and delivery location.
